I received my Magnolia kit recently and in it was this cute little witch!!....It was very hard to make her spooky........but I love her anyway!!..lol. All the new stamps in the Magnolia Spooky Collection are Fabulous....and are available for order at the Magnolia Webshop.
Heidi at "the Little Stamp Shoppe" has a great selection of the new Spooky Collection as well and the new So Spooky papers!!
I've used 4 Magnolia stamps on this card.....HW09 Flying Witch Tilda, Hw09 Happy Halloween. From the Magnolia Halloween & Autumn Collection 2008 - HVo8 Halloween Pumpkins, The bat is from the Magnolia's Fall Stamps 2007 - H007 BAT
The images are colored with copics under the prismacolor pencils and a touch h20's to deepen the shade and add a little sparkle. *(Please remember.....do not use copics over prismacolor pencils or the wax from the pencils will ruin your copic tips!)*
I've stippled the moon with white acrylic paint and Shimmerz in the center. The witch, pumpkin and sentiment have been attached with foam pop ups for dimension.
Ink - memento black, creamy caramel, pumpkin pie. Papers - GP white, Magnolia (So Spooky papers), scraps of cs from Michael's. Accessories - Magnolia flowers, netting, bit of red tulle, stickles, spica pen, foam popups, stitching, shimmerz.

ReplyDeleteIla, another GORGEOUS card! I so admire your coloring/shading skills. I have now invested in copics. But I have not really tried shading. I love that they color so beautifully (no streaking), but shading makes a BIG difference. Your work is always so beautiful! I admire your talent.

Awwww......your card is too cute to be spooky Ila! Such gorgeous details and coloring! I don't know how the Magnolia Company does it but every new stamp arrival is cuter than ever! It is almost impossible to decide which stamp to buy....at least for me:)
