"Joy & Cheer"....Magnolia

I've used four stamps from Magnolia on this card......Sweet Tilda is "HV08 Tilda with Candy Cane" from the Christmas Collection - the tag is "NY08 Tag" from the New Years Collection - the snowflake is "HV08 Gigant Snowflake" and the holly is "DEC07 Järnek / Holly" from the Winter & Christmas Supplement 2007. The joy and cheer sentiment is from HOTP Christmas Art

Magnolia stamps can be purchased from Phebe at The Town Scrapper, Diana Crick's Magnolia-licous store, Magnolia-A-Holic and the Magnolia Store.

I used prismacolor pencils (oms) and twinkling h20's to color these images.

Candy Cane Tilda is popped up on dimesionals - I used my nesties for the oval and embossed it with the cb snowflake folder - The tag is layered on red card stock - Diamond glaze is used on top of the holly berries - Acrylic white paint for accents.

There is glitter on Tilda's wings...edges of the oval, border and snowflake.

Ink - versafine black, bordering blue

Paper - Georgia Pacific white, the rest of the papers are from "Magnolia"

Accessories - brad, snowflake, lace, ribbon, border punch, rick rack, diamond glaze, glitter, acrylic paint, stitching.

It is very cold here today......wind chills of minus 28 Celsius.....I sure hope it warms up by the weekend..as we plan to go to the city to do some Xmas shopping!! I love the decorations and music in the stores....but I hate standing in line...but that's the way it goes....I shall be brave and patient....or at least try...lol.

Thanks for looking everyone and for your lovely comments!! ....I'm wishing you all, "Joy & Cheer!!"

  41. Luv your beautiful card! Your did a fab job Ila! I gotta head to Walmart one day to buy the Georgia Pacific white cardstock. Right now I am using cardstock from Micheals by The Paper Company. Thx for listings all the names of the Magnolia stamps. I have Tilda holding the candy cane but don't have the others. Will have to save up to get the rest. I just placed a big order last week for Magnolia and Sarah Kays stamps so I will have to wait a bit to get more stamps.

It sounds very chilly in Canada brrr to that wind chill! A bit here too but bright and sunny which is nice. Hope your Christmas shopping trip went well, I did the same last Thursday and it was horrible LOL. The standing in line would try anyone's patience and I didn't get as much done as I would have liked, now I have to brave it again! Take care, hugs, Chris x
