The Beautiful traditional stamp I used on this card is from Motivet and is called, "Children around Christmas Tree" The sentiment is High Hopes.
The image is colored with copics under the prismacolor pencils and a touch h20's to deepen the shade and add a little sparkle. *(Please remember.....do not use copics over prismacolor pencils or the wax from the pencils will ruin your copic tips!)*
Although it is hard to see ...the white flower and sentiment paper is very shimmery. I sprayed snowflake glimmer mist on both...it really looks very pretty. I added glitter to the tree and gold stickles to the edges of the sentiment and white flower.
Ink - memento black, barely banana, creamy caramel. Papers - GP white, Treasures, Michael's, K&C. Accessories - flowers, brads, nesties, pearls, gold cord, ribbon, stickles, paper doily, stitching.
We still don't have snow...so are enjoying going for a walk in the morning and evening. Today hubby started putting up our Christmas lights outside..and if all goes well this week I'm hoping to have our tree up by the end of the week. It feels a little funny with no snow ...but I could get used to that real easy..lol....

ReplyDeletehere in Holland we have to wait for St. Nicholas, next Saturday he will put something in the children's shoes and they have already started to count down, it's such a wonderful time! but I'm so looking forward to our Christmas tree, I hope next Sunday to be able to admire it!

ReplyDeleteHi Ila, I love this card. The colours are beautiful, love the flower and pearl brad, beautifully coloured, have you done a tutorial on using the prisma's & copics? I will have to have a look back and see as I find myself using this technique quite a lot. Glad the snow is staying away for you so far, we had torrential rain last week and by the end of this week the temperature has just bottomed out, we are in the minus now.
