Be Merry!! - High Hopes Crystal Snowlady!

This card is a case of one of Dawns fabulous cards...(who was the featured stamper last week) you can see her gallery here. I'm late....I had it all planned out last week..but didn't get a chance to play. This is the Beautiful card I cased.

This Cute Snowgal is from High Hopes and is called, "Crystal Snowlady"

This is also my first card using copics (so be kind)....My daughter Trina was visiting a few weeks ago...and brought her copics along for me to try out. I have a lot to learn about using these markers.

I did use a some blue prismas over the snowladies body... a bit of black on the grays....and red for the cheeks.

The background is created by masking the snowlady and using a mop brush dipped in bordering blue.

I used scribbles for the snow and snowflake...sprinkling it with glitter before it dried. Details...like dots...are done with acrylic white paint.

Ink - Memento tuxedo black, bordering blue, pretty in pink

Paper - GP white, my minds eye, blue bayou, wild wasabi

Accessories - cord, ribbon, charm, brads, bling, glitter, acrylic white paint, sewing

I hope everyone is enjoying the season amidst being crazy busy. I can't believe how fast Christmas is creeping up. It's still pretty cool here...but is suppose to warm up a little on the weekend.

Have a Great Day Everyone, Be Merry!!..and.....Thank you so much for your Wonderful Comments!!

__________________________

Now...here is my answer to the blog candy question.......

My favorite Christmas movie......."It's a Wonderful Life"....with James Stewart...I've watched it since I was a child. Probably the most wonderful thing for me about this movie is the moments and memories I have of the people who were with me while we watched it together......As a child...my parents and brothers.....later my husband...and then my own children. I hope to someday to watch it with a grandchild and collect another wonderful moment.

As far as Christmas songs go ....I think I love them all.....especially the ones my children sang when they were little at the Christmas Carol Festivals. The last few years though I must I admit...I also enjoy "Last Christmas" by Wham. Such a catchy little tune...lol...

Thanks again everyone!......... there will definitely be more candy on this blog to warm you up this cold winter! Have a Wonderful Day!!
