"A Very Merry Christmas" - Magnolia

On this card I have used 2 more of my new DT Magnolia stamps...."HV08 Tilda decorate christmas Tree" and "HV08 Christmas Tree". Both of these stamps are from the "Holiday Collection 2oo8" I think this little Tilda is so cute with her little basket of ornaments...and the tree is so easy and fast to color.

Magnolia stamps can be purchased from Phebe at The Town Scrapper, Diana Crick's Magnolia-licous store, Magnolia-A-Holic and the Magnolia Store.

I used prismacolor pencils (oms) and twinkling h20's to color these images.

Tilda and the star are popped up on foam dimentionals.

The lovely pearl snowflake, poinsettia and leaf are from Magnolia.

The sentiment is embossed with SU winter white pdr and is from "Penny Black"

The star ..I cut out of card stock ....put versamark on ...then SU heat and stick powder ....heated it up and added gold glitter...I did this a few times for good coverage.

Ink - versafine black, bashful blue, bordering blue, barely banana, close to cocoa

Paper - GP cs, dcwv, daisy d, anna griffin

Accessories - flowers, bling, brads, leaves, embossing pdr, glitter, stickles, ribbon, lace, stitching, quick kutz scroll die, martha stewart border punch, foam dimentionals

Magnolia Heart Card..."Simple Joys"

I do have another Xmas Tilda ...honest I do....but I needed one to fit on this heart card..and this Cutie worked the best. This is the first time I ever made a heart card....I was not sure how to place the images...but this is the way this card opens up...so I did it this way.

The Tilda I used is "HV08 Tilda with Heart Ornament" and "HV08 Fir Branch" both from the recent "Holiday Collection 2oo8". Magnolia stamps can be purchased from Phebe at The Town Scrapper, Diana Crick's Magnolia-licous store, Magnolia-A-Holic and the Magnolia Store.

The sentiment is from "Hot off the Press"

Images are colored with prismacolor pencils and h20's.

Tilda and simple joys are on foam dimensionals. I've used DCWV glitter paper behind Tilda and nesties for the scalloped oval.

Ink - vesafine black, creamy caramel.

Papers - GP white, Crate, DCWV and card base from Magnolia.

Accessories - cord, lace, glitter, stickles, paper branches from Magnolia, stitching

The new "WINTER /CHRISTMAS 2008" Stamp Club is now being shipped out! It is Fabulous and you can get a peek at it at Malins Fabulous Blog right here.

You can also now order the "Stamp Club™ SPRING 2008" right here. These stamp kits are a Fabulous deal!!!

We have a sprinkling of snow on the ground.....and have had icy conditions all week. I see lots of people have their Xmas lights up in town...and have even seen a few Xmas trees in the windows!! My son gave us a Christmas movie to watch this week called......"12 Days of Christmas Eve"....it was actually pretty funny and had a feel good ending. I guess I could say...."It's beginning to look and feel a bit like Christmas"...Lol.

I hope Everyone has a Wonderful Weekend!!....Thank you so much for all your Lovely comments!!

Magnolia Christmas Box!

Here is cute little round box Magnolia sent me to decorate. I have never taken photos of something like this so I took a few extra ....the top one being the top of the box.
In this photo I am trying to give you the over all look of the box.....not quite sure I've achieved that here....

This photo is of the sides.

The stamp Cute Tilda I used is here is called, "HV08 Tilda with Heart Ornament" and she is from the recent "Holiday Collection 2oo8" The bench is SEA08 Old Bench and is from the "2008 Summer and Sea Collection" You can see all the new Fabulous Collections right here. You can puchase Magnolia stamps from Pheobe at The Town Scrapper, Diana Crick's Magnolia-licous store, Magnolia-A-Holic and the Magnolia Store.

Images are colored with prismacolor pencils (oms) and h20's. Details are done with acrylic white paint. The edges of the box are painted with, "Folk art pearl paint"

The actual bench is larger than what I have here. I cut the bench in half and just overlapped it to make it smaller for Tilda.

Tilda is popped up on foamy's

The circle behind Tilda is created with a Fiskars punch. The border around the rim is done with a Martha Stewart punch.

Ink - versafine, creamy caramel

Paper - GP card stock, dcwv metallic white, daisy d's.

Accessories - flowers, lace, gem brad....(heart brad from Magnolia)....lace and trim, fern leaves...from Magnolia and Martha Stewart punch, glitter, ribbon from Magnolia.

Winter is in the air here. We've had a few snow flurries but nothing that has stayed....thank goodness!! ...but I guess it is just a matter of time...lol.

Thanks for looking everyone.....and for your lovely comments!! Have a Great Day!!

On this card I used one of High Hopes New Release stamps, "Festive Wreath". The sentiment is from HOTP.

The image is colored with prismacolor pencils and h20's. I used shimmer chalk around the wreath and inside a bit.

The poinsettias and bow are popped up on foamy's...as is the whole large base. I used Lumiere Pearl white for the dots on the beads and a silver stardust pen to line the bow.

Blue metallic cs is used for the blue layers...I've had this paper for ages...I'm really not sure why I hoard such lovely paper....and I'm trying to control that nasty habit....lol.
