This weeks High Hopes challenge#9 is hosted by, "yours truly" and I have a sketch for you all to follow.....Make a card using this sketch and post where it is at the High Hope Challenge Blog#9. You will also have a chance to win a fabulous prize from High Hopes which is Crystal Snowlady and the Snow People Saying!! The High Hopes Divas have outdone themselves again with this challenge....you can see all their lovely creations for this weeks challenge right here
I almost forgot...I also made this card with this weeks Fun "Spoonful of Sugar" challenge in mind "Blooming Marvelous". The flower in the corner is made up of 2 greeen prima floweres placed underneath a mesh and poinsettia flower.
Now onto the card.........I used "Woodland Santa" and just the Merry Christmas part of the "Christmas Fishies" sentiment.
I colored the image with prismacolor pencils (oms) and twinkling h20's.
For the fur and snow I used Duncans 3d scribbles paint and sprinkled glitter on it before it dried. For the beard I used my handy Sakura Quickie Glue pen...and sprinkled glitter over it.
I used nesties for the oval panels...and used foam dimensionals to pop it and the Santa up.
Ink - versafine black, bordering blue, cranberry crisp, creamy caramel.
Paper - GP white, always artichoke, dcwv, basic grey "figgy pudding"
Accessories - cord, stickles on tree, glitter, scribble, glue pen, nesties, fiskars border punch, martha stewart leaf punch, flowers, rickrack, embroidery floss and machine stitching
