"King of My Heart!"

It is freezing cold here and we just finished having a Blizzard. Schools are closed down..some vehicles won't run and even some businesses are closed because of the deep freeze. The temp is -31 Celsius..the windchill is -49 Celsius. I believe when the temps get this low it is very close to the same as being Fahrenheit. I am very happy to be inside today. When I take the puppies out to potty they do their thing, "super fast" and are back in the house before I even step back in the door...lol.

Today's card is the Valentine I made for my Hubby. This Handsome Lion and heart background are both High Hopes Stamps. The lions name is "Leo" and you can find him right here "Leo"

I used the WT149 and the SC159 challenges. The crown and edges of the dark blue are gold embossed. The Lion is colored with Prismacolor pencils (gamsol) and H20's. The "of my Heart" sentiment is created with the Dymo label maker.

Stamps: High Hopes Stamps, Amazing to Zany, snap stamps, all night media

Paper: whisper white, dcwv, prima marketing, Michael's

Ink: versafine black, brocade blue, garden green, true thyme, close to cocoa, cranberry crisp(background)

Accessories: heart stickers, stitching, cord, gold embossing, stickles, brads

Have a Great Day Everyone!..Stay Warm!...and Thanks for Looking!..and your Kind Comments!

"Chewbacca"

I am a little late with posting....lately I have had 2 puppies in my house. My own little, "Buddy", and I've been puppy sitting my 27 yr old son's new little Shihtzu...."Chewbacca", (this name is from Starwars I believe) and.. Yes...that name is pronounced exactly as it sounds. I've had a hard time with this name....my son repeatedly tells me I say it wrong...I have a tendency to call his puppy, "Chewbocca"(bad..not right..sonny does not like that)....so I sometimes call puppy, "Chewytobacca" (trying to get that bacca right)...and "Chewy Louie". As long as it has, "Chew" in it somewhere...this little fella comes running..lol.....full of what I call, "nip and licks". He's a Sweetie!!

Hope your day is Tea-riffic!!

Another card made with the High Hopes Trish Tea Angel. I bought a slab of Wild Aspargus papers in the late fall at Holly Hobby in Minot, ND. They are such beautiful papers...and what a great deal if you go when the slabs are half price.
