He Loves Me!! - "Motivet DT"

I think this little Doraline is just the Cutest!!...and the Sentiment is so perfect!!....Both stamps are from Motivet......Doraline is called "Doraline-Loves me, loves me" the sentiment is called "Loves me, loves me not".

The layout I used for this card is from Friday Sketchers....what a Great sketch!!

I colored the images with Copics for base only, prismacolor pencils (oms) and H20's....**Never use copics over prismacolor pencils...or you will ruin your tips!!**

Both the green scalloped round layer and Doraline image panel are popped up for dimension.

Ink - memento black, bashful blue

Paper - GP white, Bazzill CS, MME

Accessories - ribbons, flowers, brads, button, glitter, nesties, stitching

Hi Everyone.....I'm still alive....and almost back to normal. I don't get viruses very often....but lately when I get one....they seem harder to shake...couldn't be age could it?...lol.

I started this card last week.......I used the fabulous sketch Maria created for Stamp With Fun Challenge #16. This card also qualifies for this weeks Stamp With Fun Challenge #17 - which is a Pearl theme.

The Magnolia stamps I've used on this card are......"Tilda with Bunch of Roses" and the sentiment "Especially for you" ....both from the "Chasing Butterflies Collection".

Tilda is colored with copics for base....prismacolor pencils and a bit of h20's to deepen the shade....*please remember to only use copics under prismacolor pencils .....never on top or your copic tips may be ruined!*

Tilda is cut out and popped up over the nesties layers. I've put glitter on Tilda's roses ....but it isn't very visible in the photo. I've also used shimmerz on the accent flowers and leaves.

I can't believe it's Friday already!!....I have company coming for the weekend so this post may seem a little short.

Have you checked out the Little Stamp Shoppe lately?.....Heidi has ordered some of the Fabulous recent "Lazy Summer Days Collection". Right now it says Out of Stock when you view what she has ordered but they should be available soon.

The Cute Magnolia stamps I have used on this card are CC09 Spring Tilda, CCo9 Watercan and C09 Dot Butterflies all from the "Chasing Butterflies Collection" ........The "Watercan" and "Spring Tilda" are both available at "the little Stamp Shoppe" The sentiment I've used is part of a stamp set I won over a year ago....and is created by Aud

The Fabulous sketch I've used for this card is the recent SC 237 at "Splitcoaststampers"

I have colored the images with copics for base....prismacolor pencils and a bit of h20's to deepen the shade. I know I am a broken record but...*please remember to only use copics under prismacolor pencils .....never on top or your copic tips may be ruined!*

Tilda is cut out and set on the water can with foam stickies for dimension.....The previous butterfly on the water can is replaced with one of the small Dot Butterflies and is partially glued down so the wings stay up. There is glitter on the flowers, leaves, Tilda's pony tail holders and the edge of the butterfly...but I couldn't capture it in the photo.

I've used nesties for the image...and the watering can is "out of the box" so to speak to keep the image in the center.

Ink- memento black, bashful blue, certainly celery

Paper - Georgia Pacific whit, Bazill CS, Kraft, PP from Magnolia ...Bloom & Grow I believe.

Accessories - flowers, nesties, brad (dollar store), jute webbing on the pink layer (not quite sure what it is called), drywall netting, jute string, stitching, glitter

It's Your Birthday! - Motivet Sketch Challenge

There is a Fabulous sketch challenge going on at the Motivet Inspiration Blog. Join in and you will have a chance to win 5 Motivet stamps of your choice. The challenge runs until July 31th...so there is still lots of time to enter.

Motivet is a Canadian based company. The Cute images Doraline and Dexter are created by a 25 year old very talented artist named Marina who lives in Florida USA.

This is the card I've come up with from their great sketch. The stamp I used from Motivet is called Doraline Surprise ....clicking on her name will take you to her. They've had another recent release.....and it is now possible to order in US currency now.

This card is made for one of my daughters Birthday....It is late...but she told me, I have to make her one anyway...lol. I hope she likes it.

How I colored this image....

I've first based the image with copics (all very light colors)...and then used prismacolor pencils (oms) over them. The copics are a wonderful base....the prismacolor pencils blend like butter over them...and the whole image ends up being just a little brighter. Over this I still like to take my Twinkling h20's and just deepen the shading a tad.

**Be sure though...never to use copics over prismacolor pencils...or you will ruin your tips!!**

Ink - memento black, barely banana, creamy caramel, ruby red

Accessories - dew drops, lace, ribbon, button, dollar store metal flower, prima flower, dollar store leaves, crocheted flower (my own), pearl string (from my good friend Tina), SU eyelet punch, stitching.

The weather here continues to be just right....temperature wise...although a little dry. I am off to bbq with my hubby.....and enjoy a nice glass of wine.....or maybe 2...lol.
