Big Blossom Bella

Oh my..it has been a long time since I've posted. But here I am...and it is a beautiful day here in Saskatchewan. At least I think so ..after the cold rainy days we've been having.
Last weekend we went to Beinfait to visit our daughter and her husband. They recently bought a house there....it is Very Nice! We had lunch in Estevan and after lunch my daughter and I did a little shopping. We went to the nicest little stationary store with scrapbook and stamping supplies. We had a great time! ...they actually had a nice variety of clear stamps and hero arts. The prices were very reasonable. We bought some stamps and prima flowers to share....they had great colors. My daughter and I are indeed "Partners in Crime"....but... we can't really count the things we buy and share as "Spending Money" right?....I mean aren't we really "Saving Money??".....yup....and that's a Good Thing isn't it?
I have a card to share...... I love Bellas...
For stamps I used SU's Riveting, Big Blossom, Paisley Background, Linen Background, Amazing to Zany and Stamping Bella - Bella stamp. All inks are SU. The Bella image is painted with H20's. Stamping Bella is quite shimmery although you can not tell in the scan.
I used the Cuttlebug Swirl folder on green Costco paper. Cardstock is Costco and Michaels. The ribbon is from Michaels.
I am trying to learn to use the many different stamps I have been collecting..as I seem to be more of a collector than a doer. I am also a hopeless blog browser...I get so involved with enjoying other peoples blogs ..that I often use my crafting time up. I guess I am going to have to limit myself..but it is so hard .... there are so many wonderful blogs out there.
Thanks again everyone for checking out my blog and the "Wonderful Comments"
Have a Great Weekend!!!

It looks like spring is finally on its way here. The temps. have warmed up and the snow is melting. My husband and I went for a nice walk tonight on Pavement!! It was wonderful!
I have a new Bella Card. I enjoyed using some spring colors. The yellow cardstock is from Michaels, rose cardstock is from Joe Annes. The green paper (embossed with the Cuttlebug) is from Costco. I really don't know where the patterned paper is from. I used prismacolor pencils and oderless mineral spirits on the Bella image. Hi There is from SU. I used SU ribbon and flower punches to make the flowers. I've accented the hair and flowers with Stardust pens. I am anxiously waiting for my Spring Mini order from SU...it should be here early next week..Yay!!

Cuttlebug Swirl embossing folder. Green ribbon is from Michaels. Silver string is from SU. I love you stamp is from Michaels. I colored the Bella with prismacolor pencils and used odourless mineral spirits to blend. I cut out little hearts, used stickles for sparkle and dimensional for pop. This Valentine is going to be for my Hubby. He's going to have to remember way, way back to relate me with that beautiful figure though..lol.
