It's time for me to do a post on the Awards and tags I've received....here goes....

This photo was taken in June....Chewbacca (Toy Shihtzu)...is my son's dog....Buddy is ours (Bichon/Shihtzu)...and Buster ( Maltese/Shihtzu) belongs to one of my daughters. Buster looks a little evil here...but honestly he's really adorable....it's just a bad hair day or something..lol. Anyway they have all come over to play....and it must be a rainy day....because that yellow towel on the floor is for wet paws.

1. I love to color...I have since I was a child. My mother use to buy me these very small coloring books...They were only around 5x5 inches....around the size of a child's reading book. I use to love these little books and wouldn't allow anyone else to color in them...lol. I still love to look at coloring books....and love the smell of good quality wax crayons.

2. I love any kind med for coloring.....I think I'm kind of addicted to trying everything...I've used oils, acrylics, water colors....pencils....any new thing comes along and I'm always itching to try it!!

3. I dislike when people cut other people off when they are talking...it doesn't matter who it is....I think it is Rude!!

4. Although I can color my images quickly ....when it comes to making a card ...it takes me forever.. I take way too long choosing my papers...etc...

5. I don't like shopping when it the stores are crowded.

6. I am not crazy about pineapple on my pizza ...but put up with it because my family likes it.

7. I can't stand when people drink out of milk cartons......What?...too lazy to get a glass?

8. I hate waking up to dirty dishes. I just don't like seeing them..especially in the morning..being in the dishwasher is fine though

9. Sometimes it seems like this world is being taken over by junk mail and paper flyer's. I hate seeing them lying around all over...especially on the kitchen table!!

10. I use to smoke....I loved smoking .....but I gave it up in around 1988...and now....I'm like a Militant non-smoker...lol.

This is going to be hard ......as I have shared this twice before...and I am really not all that interesting....but I will give it a go anyway.

1. I love to sit and swing on our patio swing outside.....basically I like anything that rocks. In fact sometimes when I am standing talking to someone...I rock a little back and forth....I have to catch myself. Weird Huh???....and yes...I also have my own special rocking chair my hubby bought for me...lol.

2. I love onions and garlic......baked onion soup is one of my favorites...and I love garlic in pretty well anything....well except for sweets..lol.

3. I hate dusting.......and I leave it as much as possible....unless someone is coming over and then I run like mad to dust things off.

4. I have 4 older brothers....and when I was around 4 yrs old ..... I use to tell everyone that I was a boy too. I did not want to be a girl.......So my parents friends would come over and say, " Oh aren't you a pretty little girl?"......and I would get very agitated and say..."I'm not a girl...I'm a boy!". Did I really think I was a boy?...I don't think so...but who wants to be a girl in a house full of boys that are always doing fun stuff?...lol.

5. I love going on Road trips.........I really enjoy stopping along the way at different towns....checking out the stores or even just stopping at the gas stations that have convenience stores ...just to look around.

6. I use to love cross country skiing....I still do but haven't had time in the last few years. Anyway....hubby and I both loved it ...and we were even instructors for a kids ski club...called Jack Rabbit. When we were asked by the city to do it...they let all our kids join free......(all five)..what a great deal......and ...we had a great time.

7. I love taking a nice long bath....with lots of bubbles....Oh ...I like showers of course too....especially when I don't have much time....but I do enjoy a nice soak.

So here are the 6 things you may not know about me...(this is very hard cause I'm really quite boring!)

1. I am a tea collector....I must have 20 different types

2. I cut my hubby's hair...I use to cut our children's hair too.

3. I have the biggest cup in the house. (my hubby tells me this) ...since I have to reduce my coffee ....I'm making darn sure I get a good sized cup of it.

4. I like to walk near the center of the road...why? ...because I hate the angle at the side..near the curb. I swear my knees can tell. (So if you hear of a 52 yr old lady and her dog getting hit by a car.......).

5. I love flannelette pyjama pants and flannelette sheets in the winter.....I wonder if it has something to do with when I was a kid....my Mom was a big fan of flannelet sheets and pj's

6. I like playing with my dog.....we fight over nylabones...sometimes I think he's human...and I know when I have the bone...sometimes he thinks I'm a dog.....lol.

I'm Tagged

First off I want to make sure that everyone realizes that I do not have 4 dogs living in my house. ..only Buddy.

The others belong to my grown up daughters that live away from home...in fact different towns and cities. I got the feeling that some thought they all lived with me......don't get me wrong ... I love dogs....but I am not that "Special" of a person to be able to raise 4 dogs in my home. I truly admire people that do. The place where I got buddy had 4 live in dogs...some rescued ...Fabulous people....well behaved dogs.... you would never have known all these animals were even there. My daughter has 2 dogs and I admire her also.

Thanks everyone for all your lovely comments about Buddy and my Grand-doggies.

Here goes...

1. I hate liver....I have since I was little ...and it doesn't matter how it's cooked!!!

2. I love walking.....every day if I can.....in fact I really don't feel good unless I get that walk in.

3. I like to wear loose crappy clothes around the house.

4. I love deep fried mushrooms......in fact I pretty well like any kind of mushrooms ...in anything.

5. I love salads and can eat them everyday...especially if there are mushrooms in them...lol.

6. I have naturally curly hair.........when I was young I use to do anything to straighten it ...now I am just so happy to just let it go.

7. I've never been on an airplane.....A few years ago my dh and I were at an airshow and 2 planes crashed right in front of us ...killing both pilots and passengers....very traumatic...Ever since...neither my dh nor I feel we are missing anything by not going on a plane.

Back from holidays and Tagged

We are back from holidays and hubby is back at work. Holidays were great but it is nice to be back. I am amazed at how much I missed stamping. More about holidays later and maybe even a few pics.....

I was Tagged by Charlene (be sure to check her blog....it's Wonderful!! Charly's Crazy Corner) I have to list 7 unknown facts about myself and then tag 7 other people, leaving a comment on their blog to let them know that they too, have been tagged.

1. Although I enjoy watching good movies...I am not a regular T.V watcher. I would rather be doing something ...like stamping or creating something.....or being on the computer. In our previous house we had the computer in our living room...I loved that cause while hubby was watching T.V. I would check and read my mail etc...but still kind of felt like we were doing something together.

2. I love taking pictures ...(my family can attest to that) and lots of them ...of everything and anything ..birds..gardens...animals..barns....while were driving. I think the digital camera is the greatest invention ever. I also like taking little movie clips. When I was young..like 10 yrs old...my brother gave me his old 110 camera. I took a photo of an Elvis Presley poster pic from a record album ....(outside very close up) had the photo developed..took it to school and told all my friends I met Elvis and he let me take his pic. (I know...I know...what some kids will do for attention right?) Anyway everyone believed me...the photo really wasn't very good..but we were all kids and it was fun.

3. Wild flower gardening is sort of a passion for me. I have 2 gardens, one sort of wild and a more designed one. The wild one is always full of birds, bees, butterflies and this year a few wild rabbits. The designed one is oriental.

4. I love the water....I miss when my kids were all small and we took them to family swimming to practice what they learned at their swimming lessons.

5. I took piano lessons when I was 12-14. I actually did quite well but my interest changed to boys....that was it for the piano lessons.

6. I use to love to bake....and unfortunately..eat it too. I have to watch my sugar now so I only bake when company is coming..if that. Even putting it in the freezer doesn't help.... if its around ....I will eat it!

7. I have 5 fabulous children.....Trina 32, James 31, Crystal and Kimberley 27 (yes twins) and Darren 25. Now I hope I got all their ages right.

I've been tagged by Maria to list 7 random facts/habits about myself and then tag seven others. Sounds like fun...so here I go....

* I like to add 2-3 T. of melted real butter to my microwave diet popcorn....I know...I know..what's the point??

* I hate to see dirty dishes in the morning...in fact I even hate seeing dirty dishes in the sink!! Does that mean I am paranoid about washing them...nooooo........I love my dishwasher!!...and just keep storing them in there.

* I married my husband when I was 18...in fact we were both 18...we were like glue since we started dating. This year we will celebrate our 34th Anniversary!!

* I ran a homecraft business for over 10 yrs. Decorative, Folk Art Painting and Woodcrafts being the major part of it. My husband was my woodcrafter and we participated in many large craft shows. Two of my daughters make beautiful crafts as well and helped out tremendously with these shows. It was lots of work but also a lot of fun!!

* I love coffee.....I mean I really love coffee! I use to drink tons of it....(like a car needing fuel to run). I have to limit it now...drastically...and drink half decaffeinated ....but I still love it!!

* I smoked for almost 20 yrs. I quit in my 30's with my hubby. It was very hard but well worth it!!

* When I was fifteen I took Drivers Ed which was something new offered at that time in my school. Of course I got a early learners licence...convinced my parents that with this special licence I could drive by myself...borrowed their car and had a ball driving around with my friends... I know I was a terrible daughter.......but I certainly had no problem passing my drivers on the morning of my 16 th Birthday!!
