Treasures For Ye! - Gift folder

Don't forget my Blog Candy in the Post Below for High Hopes New Release Stamps!! You all have until Friday to enter!!! I love this little High Hopes pirate....well....I love all High Hopes New Release Stamps!!! I created this gift folder using this Fabulous Tutorial I found on Frances Blog FranMade. It is so easy to make!! I know I will be making more of these wonderful folders!! On this folder I used "On Guard Oberto", "Treasure Map", "Ships Wheel" and "Anchor". You can find these and all High Hopes New Release stamps right here.

The "Treasures For Ye!" is actually single words I just inked up off of the main High Hopes New Release sentiments.

I put diamond glaze on the eye patch and the handle of the sword (big knife).

The sentiment and scalloped base are popped up on foam dimensionals. The trim or netting on the front was a roll I found in my craft stash...I'm not sure what it is called.

Paper: whisper white, basic grey, dcwv, michaels Ink: versafine black, bashful blue, creamy caramel, close to cocoa, blue bayou, cranberry crisp Accessories: brad, cord, nestabilities, stardust pen, stickles, diamond glaze, stitching

The images are colored with prismacolor pencils (OMS) and H20's. Acrylic white paint for accents.

You're Fintastic!! High Hopes New Release!

Yay!! I finally got a card done. I have featured some of the stamps that are in the Fabulous blog candy I'm going to be offering..courtesy of the very kind and generous Tina owner of High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

On this card I used Starla Starfish - Burnaby Beluga - Seaweed - You're Fintastic - Sea Floor Background.

I also used the Friday Sketchers sketch. This week Carole from England has created this Fabulous sketch.

The background, Starla Starfish and Burnaby Beluga are on foam dimensionals. For the seaweed piece in the middle ...I cut a slit in the Sea Floor and slipped it in....there is a foam dimensional under the top part of it.

Now...you may notice my seaweed is very colorful and the corals are green.......probably should have been reversed ....but I found a photo on the Internet of a sea floor or something similar and everything was so colorful...I just colored away...and had a blast.

I used Prismacolor pencils and H20's for coloring. I also used acrylic paint and Jaquard Lumiere (pearl) for accents.

Paper - Watercolor, whisper white, bazill CS, basic grey

Ink - Stazon black, versafine black, bashful blue

Accessories - CB corners, pearls, baubles, stitching, glitter, clear stardust pen.
