Stampin' Granny Challenge!!

Deb at Stampin' on the Mountain (aka..Stampin' Granny....Gosh! don't ya' all just love that name?) has some Fabulous candy up for grabs!! All you have to do is make a white card. Deb has some Gorgeous examples on her blog for you to see...among other Fabulous creations!! You have to hurry though cause this Challenge is over on Sunday at 12:00 a.m.

Well...I did not find making an all white card as easy as I thought it would be...but I am happy with this card. So Thanks Deb!!..for a great challenge!!!

I used my nestabilites to make the scalloped frame. I use inked it with versamark...added SU heat n' stick powder....heated it up and then added Martha Stewart fine glitter. I then popped it up with foam dimensionals.

Tip!.....So I wouldn't muck up the front of the frame....I put a foam dimensional on the back before using versamark and then used a craft tweezers to hold onto the foam so I could add the powders and glitter.

So this pretty well wraps it up......white cs.....friend cuttlebug embossing folder...flowers, ribbon, glitter and a bit of stitching and distressing...(of course).

Do you ever wonder why I add distressing so much??..Well I do love the look...but...I swear I can't cut straight half the time...so the distressing takes the stress out of that problem somewhat....I also tend to glue my panels on crookedly very often too....again.....distressing helps with that as well. Me and my dirty little secrets...lol.

Have a Great Day Everyone!!! Thanks for looking!!!

Wow!! Who knew a white card could be so pretty!! Love your reason for distressing so much ~~ I find the distressing process rather stressful myself ~~ using that little tool is the same to me as running fingernails down a chalkboard ~~ gives me the willies. But I still do it ~~ what we do for our craft! LOL!!

How beautiful... but I can see where the challenge is! No color would be tough! But it did end up so pretty!

LOL! We all have our dirty little secrets when it comes to card making, huh! Great idea to distress the edge when cutting crooked. I've never thought of that!
