Aloha!

We have snow again.......but it is melting quickly. The temps are pretty cool though. Maybe this little gal will bring some sunshine with her!

I have been very busy with my sick puppy this week .....so far 4 nights this week he has had the runs all night. I took him to the vet on Tuesday for medicine and he seemed pretty good yesterday....than last night he was sick all over again. So today he is getting more meds from the vet...hopefully this will work. As you can guess though...not much cardmaking going on this week....I am too sleep deprived. Now I am also having to do a major cleaning job as well....poor little guy rarely makes it to the door.....and he feels so bad when he makes a mess.

On to the card recipe..

I think this little dancer is just the cutest....gotta love that little belly stickin' out there. If I ever go to Hawaii....lol....I think I'm going to fit right in there...

I used the SC171 sketch... and the CC171...(real red, glorious green and night of navy) Both challenges are Great and Fun to use!

All the stamps from High Hopes...."Leilani", "Palm Tree", "Gardenia" and "Aloha"......

I used prismacolor pencils(oms) and H20's for coloring. The background paper is stamped in with the "Palm Tree" Gardenias...were colored, stickled, cut-out and popped up. Corners are made with cuttle bug dies...partially cut off. Aloha is embossed with sparkling red by Ranger. The oval was made with nesties...but the scallop layer was made with a scissors. Is everyone getting sick of my fibres yet?...I'm trying not to use them so much ....but they just worked too well here.

Stamps: All High Hopes

Paper: whisper white, provo craft slab5, night of navy

Ink: Stazon black, bashful blue, close to cocoa, garden green

Accessories: stickles, cuttle bug, fibre, stitching,, foam dimensionals, embossing pdr.

Thanks for looking everyone and your Wonderful comments!! ** Blog candy is in the wind again soon** My Birthday is coming up May 6th.....time to celebrate!!

Precious New Baby!! Magnolia

This is my first Magnolia Design Team card. Isn't this baby just the Cutest?!! This little angel baby's name is "Sitting Tingla" I think she would also look really cute on a tent card.

You can find "Tingla" right here......Magnolia

If you are from Canada or the US you can contact The Town Scrapper

I used the SC172 sketch and WT162 challenge to use acrylics.....which are the dew drops and acrylic paint for accents. I am also participating the the Papertake Weekly Challenge "All that Glitters"

I'm not use to making such a large card....and didn't want Tingla to get lost on here so popped her up with foam dimensionals. She is colored with prismacolor pencils, and h20's.

The bottom of the swing is just a part of the window frame from the SU stamp set Window on the World. The verse is computer generated. The leaves are just cut from some silk flowers I had in my crafting supplies.

Stamps: Magnolia "Sitiing Baby Tingla" SU Window on the World Paper: whisper white, dcwv, fancy....all others are unknown form Magnolia Ink: versafine black, bashful blue, regal rose Accessories: Magnolias lace and trim, cord, flowers, brads, eyelets, dew drops, buttons, embroidery floss, glitter, stitching, scallop scissors and colouzzle, white acrylic paint, computer.

"You Crock Me Up" and Tagged!

This has been a very busy week for me. I've had lots of company so have not had very much time to post. Hopefully I will get more time this week.

We are suppose to have a nice weather this week...and it looks like all our snow will be gone in a few days...Yay!!..Spring is finally on its way.

"You Crock Me Up"

I made this card using the SC170 sketch.

I've used 2 of High Hopes new Jungle stamps......the cute alligator "Samson" and the sentiment.."You Crock Me Up".

Samson and the sentiment are both on foam dimensionals.

All the dp is basic grey. I love basic grey paper.....it is so pretty I hate to cover it with too many embellishments.

The scalloped border is made with the coluzzle.

Samson is colored with prismacolor pencils(oms) and Twinkling h20's

Stamps: High Hopes ... "Samson" ...."You Crock Me Up"

Paper: whisper white, treasures cs, chocolate chip, basic grey

Ink: versafine black, close to cocoa

Accessories: cord, embroidery floss, stitching, coluzzle, metal coil, stickles.
