I can't believe how fast Xmas is coming....I swear time goes faster every year. I have my presents all bought and almost all wrapped. I am just starting my Xmas baking though and preparing for company this weekend. It will be nice to relax a little this weekend....we will be having a nice little get together with some our family and relatives. There will definetly be wine....hmmm.
Tea Time
Malieta you were right on your last post. I was one of the designers ask by Crissy #1 artist for High Hopes to make a card for the January Project of the Month. (I am so honered).
The stamps used in this card will be on sale during the month of January.....so watch for it here at High Hopes Stamps. And for more "Wonderful Inspiration" keep and eye on Jeanne at Inky Paws as she is the other designer ask to make a Jan POTM card. Jeanne's blog and designs are Fabulous!!
You can buy these stamps separately as well....by putting HOTP into the search box and clicking the hippo you can browse through all the new stamps High Hopes has to offer.
Check out the Monthly Special for December it is just "Super Adorable"....I can hardly wait to make some Valetines with that, "Cute chocolate-lovin' Swine".
Here is the card for January Monthly Special... coming soon...
"Trish Tea Angel" was colored with prismacolor pencils (OMS) and Twinkling H20's.
I stamped the sugar cubes with bordering blue classic ink and used heat and stick powder topped with glitter.
The bottom tea border is inked first with Versamark...old olive classic ink and sprinkled with Irredescent Ice to emboss.
Stamps: High Hopes
Paper: whisper white, dcwv, basic grey, makin' memories, costco
Ink: versafine black, bordering blue, old olive, creamy caramel, close to cocoa
Accessories: flowers, pearl, bling, glitter, cord, stitching, coluzzle for scallops, heat and stich pdr, irredescent ice
Techniques: prismacolor pencils (oderless mineral spirts) and h20's
Happy Holidays Everyone!! and Thanks for looking and your Wonderful comments!!

what a great card, love that image and your colors and background.
Awww that is such a cute card! The lumps look like REAL SUGAR!
Super cute! Sweet, sweet image!
I forgot you mixed H2O's and prisma. When I was ooglying over your gorgeous card, I was going to ask you what you used, and then noticed your write up. I must try this technique. I'm currently working on a tutorial, for 2008, re watercolouring with Tombow markers. You should do one up with your technique because it is so gorgeous. Your style really has taken an interesting turn, and it is a turn I really like. I've said it before: you clearly capture the essence of High Hopes stamps.
This is such a sweet card (no pun intended) Your work is beyond words.
Another gorgeous card! I can't wait for January, i do believe I will be getting this gal with all her accessories.
