High Hopes Feb "Project of the Month"

Hi Everyone.....I'm back with a card using the High Hopes "Project of the Month" stamps. You can purchase these stamps on sale for the month of Feb. Aren't they just the cutest? You get the Posing Bunny stamp, Hoppy Easter sentiment and 3 different little easter eggs that are so fun to color and use for accents.

I use to think....Easter Cards? Why would I need them? But I do ...I do....I don't know why I never realized this before....lol. My Mother for instance ..(living 3 hrs away) would love one. Easter cards are like a Touch of Spring ...usually using such bright and happy colors.....So...I thought and I thought and now I have a list of who I need them for....lol.

On to the recipe....

I used the Splitcoast SC161 sketch for this card.

Stamps: All from High Hopes Stamps Feb Project of the Month Special

I used liquid applique on the tail and neck. I added glitter to it before letting it dry. I have never used this before and was very pleased with the results. All the scallops were done with the scissors and the coluzzle.

Paper: whisper white, colorbox textured, provocraft slab 6,

Ink: versafine black, creamy caramel, close to cocoa, bordering blue, blue bayou, bashful blue, garden green

Accessories: ribbon, stickles, glitter, stardust pens, cuttlebug corner, liquid applique, bling, acrylic paint

Techniques: prismacolor pencils, h20's, acrylic paint

Thanks for looking and all your Wonderful comments!!

Have a Great Day!!

How beautiful - and your use of Liquid Applique is the best I have seen in a long time - amazing that it is your first time using it. Mine never looks that good - so now you have inspired me to work, work, work - I CAN get it to look like yours!
